Remember when I updated the comic for the very first time back in October and I mentioned that the short comic that was going to be the start of Bird Boy became a little vignette about hunting a bear instead? Well the bear sort of stuck around for this comic too.

I have a bear thing. A thing for bears. Not real bears though, just bears with nib faces.

Well okay, that break was a bit longer than I had anticipated, but at last here is a new page! And look! Here are some old familiar faces- er- masks?

Many things have happened since my last update! I went to comic con on a scholarship from Deviantart to promote Bird Boy, made some concept art for That Game I’m Working On, turned 24 (last Tuesday!), got a new car, etc etc. Anyways, I will try not to make a habit out of bi-monthy updates, eh? Enjoy the page, I know it’s not the most plot filled one, but don’t worry: those are on their way.

In which Bali….makes even MORE trouble -____-

Hey guess what! This weekend I’m participating in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes 5k! Exciting! I had a goal of raising $200 in donations which we blew out of the water, so now I have a new goal of $1000. Funny thing is, we’re about to reach that goal too! We’re so close! But I need your help! If everyone who reads this comic page donates just $1 we can reach it EASY.

I’ve been T1 diabetic since I was wee so it’s a cause that’s pretty important to me. It’d be nice to have a cure before my drawing hand crumbles off, or whatever happens to those crazy diabetics >__>

Apparently this isn’t the first time Bali’s managed to rustle up some sort of beastling!

Happy Halloweeeen! Here is a scary update! Well, it’s sort of scary? It’s scary because it’s on a Monday? Most Mondays are scary. Hey, did you know it’s been almost exactly a year since I started updating this comic? Pretty exciting! Within the next year we’ll really get into the meat of the comic, which should be a ton of fun

Go Lakasi go! The hunters finally get to do something! Other than, you know, hunt.

And a page updating on time for once! I was pretty excited about getting this one done, so not much could stop me. Having lots of energy stored up from all that turkey I ate last week probably didn’t hurt either.

I added a wee project wonderful ad to the site down under the comic. I’ve been using PW as an advertiser as well as an advertisee for about 4 years now and I think it is such an awesome program. If you are a fellow comick-er, I really do recommend it for advertising. And if you are a reader you should consider clicking on some of those lovely links and finding some hidden gems!

Well, that’s unfortunate!

I was actually surprised by all the people who remembered the passing comment I made all the way back (a year ago!) on page 6 about most local beasts being somewhat less edible than the eshe. The bear is no exception I guess! Sticks and mossy stones are not so good for keeping a tribe well fed through the winter. :\

I’ve really been trying to get more regular updates out lately, so I will see you next week with another installment. Enjoy the page!

Oof, looks like I fell off the wagon again for regular updates. That is pretty terrible! But it was over the holidays, so hopefully you all were busy and didn’t miss me too much! Here is the new page.

I utilized a new work schedule this week for getting the page done. Not only did it get done on time, but I went to bed before 12 every night this week! I also got to watch tv and play with the dog, which is kind of unheard of! We’ll see how long I can keep it up, as it involves some very very tight time management *phew!*.
