Hey, I haven’t drawn these guys in like seven years, haha!
You might’ve noticed, updates are gonna be a little scattered for the rest of the summer just due to the fact I don’t have all my weekends to devote to comics until fall rolls around again. Last year it wasn’t an issue because I was on my post-volume hiatus, but this year the timing isn’t hitting quite right! I’ll do my best but it does take a bit longer to make these pages than I’d prefer!!

Like, where are their bells? Don’t they usually have bells at the end of their spears to ward off monsters? But if they are monsters posing as tribe members I can see them missing that detail. I remain suspicious of them until proven otherwise.
Or a second possibility could be maybe the Rook men devoured the Nuru tribe and we are seeing a sign of it. Either way it will be interesting to see what happens.
My guess is next we’ll see the children Sid is looking for. It’s a clever, heart-breaking trap.

If they are legit tribe members they should be excited. If they are rook men or monsters in disguise, they should be panicked or wish to disappear.
