Of course Sid wouldn’t want to go into danger would he? Then again he was the one who would willingly give the sword over to the Rook men.
Is there anyone else trying to make sense out of the glyphs in the pillars? So far I see houses like the Nuru tribe. Looks like that beast can breathe fire? Burn houses down? What’s that orb like thing behind the Rook men?
Also I doubt the beast etched in the stones here is the same one as the Halfway Beast. Halfway beast has tusks that curve inward.

Also, Bali must be half monkey. That was some climb considering the steepness and the distance between seams before reaching the vines.
Shame on you, Sid, for not helping him down that last bit. Being a coward is no excuse for that.
Aaaaaaaaand once again Bali faceplants… (Geez, Sid! The least you could do is catch the poor kid!)
The last panel is cute because without the speech bubble it looks like Sid is dismayed about Bali’s fall and in reality he’s not reacting to it very much.
