“When does the comic update?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday nights. If I’m running behind or you’re just wondering when the next update will be, my twitter<\/a> is the best place to look for up to date info.<\/p>\n

“Is it safe for my son\/daughter\/grandparents\/mother\/boss\/ward to read this comic? Will there be violence?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

While there may be some scary imagery, Bird Boy is intended for an all ages audience and will not contain any extreme language, nudity or gore.<\/p>\n

“Is there a published version I can buy?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes! The trade paperback of Bird Boy Volumes 1 and 2 are available in stores, on amazon, and through the Dark Horse website. You can also buy digital versions through Dark Horse and Comixology!<\/p>\n

“How do you make the comic?”
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The comic is made exclusively on the computer in Photoshop CS5 with a Wacom Cintiq tablet. I plan out several pages of thumbnails in advance, then create rough layout pages, then work up the final in line and flat color.<\/p>\n

“Are you available for freelance illustrations or private commissions?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not currently, all my extra time goes to illustrating these stories.<\/p>\n

“Where can I buy prints or original art?”<\/strong><\/p>\n

I currently sell prints online here<\/a>. I also sell prints and originals at conventions! You can check out the main page for info on what conventions I’ll be attending and when.<\/p>\n
