Bali was so close to being saved by the bell.
Now one of his protections is gone… he was keeping “evil spirits” away.

i like to imagine that the rook man leaned as far away as he could while still being able to reach the bell with his sword and knocking it out of his hand with a small nudge, like nudging a dead rat or large bug, and having a disgusted look on his(its?) face.
